Physio GYM

It’s well known that resistance and strength training are crucial for body health and function, especially as our bodies mature.

Despite this, many clients I support are rightly apprehensive about gym training due to an absence of understanding around which exercises they would benefit from, and also which ones would be safe for them factoring any injuries or on-going medical implications.

My Physio Gym Assessment and Physio Gym Training services provide a prescription gym plan, and education on how to use the necessary equipment.

You can then utilise this in your own gym space, or train in small groups with me to build your knowledge and confidence.

Physio Gym Assessment

This 60 minute appointment will include the following: 

-       A movement and strength assessment to establish goals for training 

-       Assignment of a personalised gym training programme 

-       Education on how to use unfamiliar gym equipment 

-       Training progression plan (this may include attendance to group Physio Gym sessions, or establish a future follow up appointment to review/update established training plan). 

Cost: £70 

Physio Gym Follow Up

This 30/45/60 minute appointment will include the following:

- Re-assessment of movement and strength goals established within the assessment appointment, and develop new training goals where suitable

- Review and critical analysis of progress and suitability of the training plan so far

- Modifications/updates to the training plan as indicated 

Cost: £40/55/70 depending on duration 

Physio Gym Training

1 hour 3-4 person group training sessions with PhysioElise

- Completion of a Physio Gym Assessment with PhysioElise is required prior to attending these sessions.

- The session will start with a 5-minute group cardiovascular and mobility warm-up, before each attendee will then work separately through their own training plans issued by PhysioElise, with Physio supervision, encouragement and input throughout. 

Cost: £20 per person
